Burial Sections

Prospect Hill Cemetery offers traditional caskets burials and cremations urn burials in four unique sections of the cemetery. The Monument, Memorial Park, Slant, and Green Burial sections.

  • Monument

    The monument section is the oldest and largest section of the cemetery with graves arrayed on a beautiful hillside. In this section, we offer full size graves, both for casket burials as well as for cremation burials.  These graves can accommodate one casket or up to three sets of cremains. Headstones are limited to a height of four feet in the monument section.

  • Memorial Park

    This section located on the lower slope of Prospect Hill is reserved for Cremains burials in full size graves only. All headstones must be at ground level.

  • Slant

    The Slant section lies along the northern boundary of the cemetery and offers and economical full-size graves for casket burials or up to three Cremains. Head stones in this section are limited to the 24” slant type.

  • Green Burial

    The Green section or natural burial section is located along the lower eastern boundary of the cemetery. This section is not yet ready for burials, but plans are well underway.
